Rainbow Falls State Park

Rainbow Falls State Park
Rainbow Falls State Park is a 139-acre camping park with 3,400 feet of freshwater shoreline on the Chehalis River. Situated in stands of old-growth forest, the park features a waterfall and a small fuchsia garden.
Home to a breathtaking 24-metre / 80-foot waterfall, the Rainbow Falls State Park has gained it name from the visible rainbow spectrum, which forms most mornings when the sunshine alights on the mist. The waterfall itself it at its most impressive following heavy rainfall, when it cascades down into the Wailuku River below with great force. Near to Wainuenue, the park is easy to find and is close proximity to the Peepee Falls and the volcanic ponds known as the 'Boiling Pots'.
